One more, couldn't resist. Although this track isn't on the new album mentioned below it's sure to spread pretty fast. Already hot on the heels of the new album Zimmerman has already announced that he will be releasing another in 2011 which he has already started working on. This track will most likely be a part of said new album. Enjoy!
I don't really need an excuse to post more Deadmau5, but I have one! His new album is being released next week on Tuesday December 7th. Some of the album has already been released over the span of 2010 in singles such as 'Some Chords' (previously featured on DP) and 'Animal Rights' which featured a team up with Wolfgang Gartner. Here are two new tracks of the album which are sure to be released as singles. Also, if you're in Toronto over the holidays and want to see Deadmau5 live, he'll be playing at The Guvernment on Boxing Day Dec 26th, for reduced cover guestlist you can check out the event page on facebook and send Shaya an e-mail at Shaya007@gmail.com
Update: Event Page has been shut down and guestlist canceled. You now need to simply hack off an arm or a leg to get into the show
From Belfast, Ireland comes DJ Mog who broke out last year with his singles 'Searching' and 'Not For Long'. In 2010 he continues to increase his popularity with the release of his debut album 'Somewhere in Between' which features the following great single 'Somewhere'. Check him out here.
The title of this track alone sells itself. Each of the names in this song are capable of making great music, lets see what happens if we mash them together...
It seems our Canadian female leads are dominating the techno vocals these days with Tegan & Sara and Emily Haines collaborating with the likes of Tiesto on his newest album.
It's Friday! Here's some tracks to groove to while you're getting ready to go out and hit the club, or see Iron Man 2, or while sitting at home playing the new maps on Call of Duty...I'll probably be doing all three.
"Shelter" (Death to the Throne remix) - The XX
Great remix of this tune by The XX . Look for more remixes of their self titled album to come, maybe even some by our buddy JTokyo.
This song is not new. Metric has been playing it live at their shows for years now, but it's finally being released on the Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World soundtrack out this summer.
Hailing from the northernmost town of Germany's Ruhr area is an artist who has been a leading figure in the electronic music scene for more than a decade, setting new standards in production. My first post is a great track from Morgan Page, this Deadmau5 remix of his song The Longest Road was nominated for a Grammy in 2009 and his new album 'Believe' was released this past February. Check him out here.
