First let me give a shout out to Jtokyo and JediK killing it on their posts. Some really great tunes to listen to. Hopefully this next track will live up to the hype. Adele has been blowing up on blogs lately so i think its only fitting that she is featured a few times on DP this week. Today its in dubstep form, with a great remix by UK producer Bullwack who has only recently emerged on the scene winning a contest with his first remix. Bullwack chose Rolling In Deep which is one of my more loved songs by Adele and i must say he hit this one out of the park. The perfect mix of high's and low's really help this dub song stand out from the rest. Check it!
I don't really need an excuse to post more Deadmau5, but I have one! His new album is being released next week on Tuesday December 7th. Some of the album has already been released over the span of 2010 in singles such as 'Some Chords' (previously featured on DP) and 'Animal Rights' which featured a team up with Wolfgang Gartner. Here are two new tracks of the album which are sure to be released as singles. After too long away from the site I've finally got around to posting some new tracks. Actually, it simply took me this long to sit down with JTokyo and have him teach me how to upload songs onto the new hosting site...but now I'm good so enjoy these:
First up is my favortie track of the summer from Ron Reesor & Dan Saenz. The duo are resident DJ's at the Playboy Mansion! so they must be doing something right. Also the artists have signed with Ultra Records, the label the brought us David Guetta, Kaskade, and Deadmau5. The track 'Everything' feat. Speaking of Morgan Page, I saw him again this summer in Toronto at the Guvernment for a great set with alot of his new material. It reminded my about the first time I saw him and heard a great remix of Tegan & Sara's 'Alligator' and at the time I couldn't find it but now about 6 months later here it is! The Tings Tings are back! they have a new single out called 'Hands' which is pretty awesome, look for their new album tentatively titled 'Kunst' (which apparently means 'art' in German) to be out soon - no release date has been set, their label is probably still busy convincing them to change the album title.. I had the pleasure of listening to this song on a friends XM radio while driving home from my cottage this past weekend. I didnt know who did the remix at the time but I knew I just needed to find out and share with everyone. Grifta did it with this one, its on constant replay on my iPhone not to mention my goto track when im listening to music with some Beats by Dr Dre. This track really is a fucking banger compared to the original so check it out.
Are you ready for perhaps one of the filthiest, brown noise inducing, dubstep songs you have ever heard? Check out Cookie Monsta from the UK. Crank that fuckin' bass and make sure you are wearing diapers when listening to this one.
I really have to give credit to Sub Focus with this remix, what a different sounding remix. I find too many people take a song change it around a little and then take credit calling it their remix. This is the opposite, it screams originality and talent. Give this dub step a listen you wont regret it.

Can you tell I couldn't figure out what picture to put with this post? Sorry for the delay between posts but google's player decided to stop working one day randomly. As you can tell this is what we mainly use but alas we are making the switch to flash player. So be patient with us as we go back and redo all the posts with the google player in them. So as I am learning to use this, here is 4 tracks that I have been meaning to post but haven't had the time.
Remember that time on the O.C. when that dude got shot and that song played and everything went slo-mo? Neither do I... Well we cant fault the O.C. for their music selection because it was on point. The song they used in that particular scene was "Hide and Seek" by Imogen Heap; one of the most talented artists out their today. This woman does it all, writes her own stuff, produces, sings and mixes it. I originally found out about her while she was in Frou Frou, making Garden States soundtrack sound oh so nice. So as promised on Facebook here is some choice selections of her work. Enjoy.

Now that we have gotten those two essentials out of the way, we can now start with the remixes.
First up we have TapeDeckBros remix of Hide and Seek. TapeDeckBros, native to my own home Toronto, represent and bring the heat with this simple yet effective remix.
Next on the remix list we have High Contrasts remix of "Headlock". I only recently came across this Drum N Bass version, but its definitely one of the best remixes of her songs that I have heard.
There is also the the 2-1 dubstep remix by Murdok that we posted earlier on this site which is mos def worth checking out if you havent. It was what sparked this whole post. Check it out here.
This is some real heavy shit people. Im not sure if youre ready to handle it on a thursday afternoon. Machine Gun is the first single off their new album "Split the Atom". Again this is a no download track but I have to post this. It is my duty.
Wow not sure what to say here. This is probably one of the freshest sounds ive heard in quite some time. Self proclaimed Dubstep/Glitch Hop/Laserbass producer NiT GriT has really delievered the goods on this one. Unfortunately its not available to download yet but holy shit its still worth a listen.
I came across this drum and bass producer from Belgium while doing my daily music search and eating my cheerios. Although I wish that when I found him I was eating acid instead of cheerios. This track is 21 minutes long so make sure you got your bong and some munchies handy and get ready to enjoy some quality music. This mix has everything from dubstep to The Temptations.
