So I just stumbled across a new song from Groove Armada's upcoming album it features Bryan Ferry whose melodic vocals really help boost the already laid back beat by GA. While listening to this song I can't help but think that if Inglorious Bastards was set in 2010 Tarantino would have used this in the score. You need to check it out and get pumped for the upcoming album.

Helsinki 78-82
Helsinki 78-82 is a project by Top Billin team members Flipper & Koobra who hail out of Finland. With their new 12" release Helsinki 78-82 has reinvented themselves from a hard knocks bass/electro feel to a much more laid back electro vibe. They have dubbed this new sound "Big City House" which is a sound that you look for when you're cruising the streets at night with the top down. The 12" features two songs So Lifelike Feat. Villa Nah and Cruising both of which deserve a listen.

New Justice? - Beginning of the End ✞ + New Daft Punk? (The Net Gossip)
Ed Banger Records have just put out a new single by Justice. Its being spread around the net for free, which is pretty generous coming from an establishment like Ed Banger. (Although there are a lot of talk going around of this being fake) The track sounds a lot like most of the stuff from †, so nothing really new and not that exciting if I might say so. The interesting thing about this song tho, once I added it to my iTunes in the 'album' section appeared this symbol ✞. Is this the name of their new album (souped up 3d-ed †), who knows. Give this track a listen, I am not a big fan personally and hope that this isn't real, and def. hope that this is not a single off their new cd

Another track going around the net is apparently the new leak by Daft Punk called "The Crash." Its a 12 minute track that sounds like it could be part of the Tron Soundtrack. Give this one a shot. Not a bad track, but once again hard to tell if its real or fake. O well, just enjoy.

"I Feel Better" - Hot Chip
Hot Chip. Makes you think literally of an overheating integrated circuit, transistors bursting, silicon melting to goo, heat sink on a permanent vacation. Nerdy name that describes exactly what their music sonically resembles. On "I Feel Better" fans and sinks are traded for what sounds like sails and the high seas, loosely echoing the Pirates of the Caribbean theme. And as odd as the cringe-inducing comparison is, it somehow works, heightening the grandiose imagery of the lyrical content. "We Have Love" takes a similar approach but is moodier with a hint of desperation when the refrain hits. Even dem ancient mariners did dance and these are two of the dancier tracks on the new album.
Also worth checking out the album of Hot Chip's Joe Goddard. The tracklisting of his Harvest Festival is obsessed with fruits. This time, the banana actually runs, and we assume, wins the race.

Never Be Your Woman (Solo UK "Loves Garage" Remix) - Wiley ft. Emeli Sandé
When I first heard this track I thought to myself "what kind of music is it?". Well to those who don't know either, it's UK Funky, and indeed the beat gives that feel. This to me is new, but the track is not. It is indeed a brilliant remix to White Towns 97' hit "Your Woman". With this rubber band bouncy beat and hints of Latin flava', I couldn't ask for a better way to finish up 2009.

French Jeans (Dada Life Remix) - Mvsevm
I haven't always been a fan of what Dada Life has done with a remix, I find they have a sound where either you like everything they do or nothing they do. I have to say though the french jeans remix is an exception to the rule because I think this track is killer and from now on I'm going to make sure I keep a close eye on Dada Life

Remedy Feat. Miike Snow - Crookers
I have actually been trying to hold off from posting this song to the blog. It blew up and I heard it everywhere so I figured it didn't need to be put up. But my friends I cant resist its sweet sweet pull any longer. I've caved and i think its for the best. I'm a big fan of not only the Crookers but of Miike Snow, his sound is different and I likes it. As for the Crookers, they once again deliver a sick beat worthy of the praise I give it. So if you haven't heard this joint your in for a treat and if you have we both know your going to listen again.

The Ed Banger 7
Hello all! You know what the deal is, NYC with Banger Records, best party of the new year. Dirty Physics will be there (at least 2 of us). Just spreading the word if you didnt know. Tickets are still available at Ticketmaster. Hurry up though they will probably sell out. I believe the only priced tickets left is 45 US dollars. Also, if anyone from around the Toronto area is going let us know, maybe we can work out a carpool or something. If anyone from NYC is reading this and wouldnt mind putting up 2 poor Canadian students for the night that would be amazing.
Breakbot
Well who do we have here on this fine Saturday afternoon? Breakbot is the name, funky grooves is the game. We posted a remix he did a while back which you can see here but he can no longer be put aside without a closer look. This Parisian from Ed Banger is starting to make waves on the blogosphere and with good reason. Id compare his style to Daft Punk if they decided they had perfected their music with "Something About Us". His music is a chilled out airy synth vibe combined with some left over funk that Zapp and Roger could be proud of. You can check out his myspace here.
Expect to see big things from this guy.

Delorean
Delorean's Ayrton Senna EP is the third release on Fool House, the new label from French indie-dance blog Fluo Kids. The EP delivers a summer beachy sound, with subtle vocals that just draw you in like a siren. It seems that the 'chill-wave' movement is starting to take over 2010, spilling from 2009 with releases from groups like The xx. Will this be the new indie sound of '10s?
The EP consists of five tracks, the two below only give you a taste, to get the full effect I would recommend to listening to the whole thing in order. Check out their MySpace for more info Delorean

R3SET
Ever wonder what Danger, Justice and Boys Noize would sound like together in one song? Check out the results below. Here comes the duo, R3SET, hailing from France. Being together for only a year, they already got recognition from DJs of such likes as Bloody Beetroots, with whom they had a chance to share a stage for several shows. Check out some originals below, and a mind-blowing remix of Justice's Live version of D.A.N.C.E. Give em' some love on their Myspace R3SET

Cozza Frenzy - Bassnectar
Hey guys this is my first post so I hope you enjoy. A friend of mine recently told me to check this guy out and I'm sure glad I did. The track is self titled and is from the debut album"Cozza Frenzy". The track is lit up with heavy baselines and electro lasers that sets the theme for a track that you would head to war with. Dirty and gritty, this beat makes for a good ride in the car or mashin' up at home.

"Winter Minimix" - Netsky
I came across this drum and bass producer from Belgium while doing my daily music search and eating my cheerios. Although I wish that when I found him I was eating acid instead of cheerios. This track is 21 minutes long so make sure you got your bong and some munchies handy and get ready to enjoy some quality music. This mix has everything from dubstep to The Temptations. You can check out Netskys myspace here. Also you are gonna wanna crank the volume for this one. Enjoy.

I couldnt find much on this German producer/producers? Whoever they are they know how to mix a song. This song has a great sound but when the eerie chrous comes in and Jay-Z spits over it, it's a perfect combo.

"Smash Into You" (Mighty Mouse's Not So Official Remix) - Beyonce
As I was browsing through some recent tracks I came across this doozy. It starts off slow and bare boned but after about 45 seconds you start to become hypnotized by it. Then all of a sudden the bass comes in and you're hooked. The songs perfection lies in how subtle it is. Amazing remix by Mighty Mouse. Check out their myspace here.
