Staring At The Sun (Diplo Remix) - TV on the Radio

I just stumbled across a great remix by Thomas Pentz or as he's better known Diplo. This time he took on TV on the Radio. And I have to say he chose my favourite song by them, which is Staring at the Sun. Staring at the Sun has such a melodic vibe to it and I'm glad that Diplo didn't shy away from keeping that tone in his remix. The only thing I wished the original had that it didn't was a stronger drum line and to my surprise thats exactly what Diplo does to take a chill track and make it a club banger. You can check out Diplo on his myspace. He has some wicked tracks, check out Paper Planes Ft Everyone, its a classic.

Cold Blank

Cold Blank is an electronic duo hailing out of L.A. made up of Chris Gaspar and Manny Luquin. They have really risen to fame from remixing wicked songs by throwing on their own sick heavy electro beats. If you havent heard of them yet thats fine but make sure from now on you keep them in your radar because they will not disappoint.

"So Light Is Her Footfall" (Breakbot Remix) - Air

Well I think Ive already said as many good things about this guy in my previous posts about him but dayyyummm. Does he really have to keep stealing my heart with these funked up grooves? This song should be an opening sequence for an anime.

Humdrum Town - Theophilus London

Hmmm, what can be said about Mr. Theophilus London? Well probably that he is the next big name to watch out for. The kid sets it down proper with his single "Humdrum Town", served up with a personality that is energetic as the beat, probably one of my favorite tracks right now. If your feeling this then check out his new mixtape titled "This Charming Man"

Die Antwoord

I don't really know what to say about this crew out of South Africa other then the fact that they are exactly what I needed in my life right now. Something so different, not just your cookie cutter answer to someone else style and fame. But really you have to check out Die Antwoord their site is really well done which also leads me to believe that there has to be something about them that we don't quite know yet. Oh and you can also listen to the whole album that has yet to be released. The designer in me says there must be some huge marketing angle to these guys, so stay tuned for any developments
